Merton
The London borough of Merton has Eight secondary schools two of which are Academy schools, 43 primary schools, 3 special schools and a pupil referal unit.
The borough has arranged its schools into five geographical clusters allowing them to co-operate in school improvement activities and to meet the requirements of the extended schools agenda. These clusters are main vehicle for preventative work for the most vulnerable young people in the borough and are the platform for moving into locally based multi-agency teams working around the child and their families.
